EMDR Therapy
EMDR is an evidence-based psychotherapy designed to help people heal from trauma and distressing life experiences. Developed by Francine Shapiro, EMDR helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or disruptive in daily life.
During EMDR sessions, clients briefly focus on difficult memories while engaging in bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements, tapping, or auditory tones. This process helps the brain “unstick” traumatic memories and integrate them in a healthier way.
EMDR is widely recognized as an effective treatment for:
-
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
-
Anxiety and panic
-
Depression
-
Childhood trauma
-
Phobias
-
Performance anxiety
-
Grief and loss
Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR does not require detailed discussion of traumatic events. Many clients experience meaningful relief in fewer sessions than expected.
If past experiences continue to affect your present, EMDR can help you move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and emotional balance.
Invidiual Therapy
Person-Centered Therapy is a compassionate, collaborative approach. It is based on the belief that every person has an innate capacity for growth, healing, and positive change.
In this approach, therapy provides a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. Through empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, your therapist supports you in reconnecting with your strengths, values, and inner wisdom.
Rather than focusing solely on problems or diagnoses, a strengths-based, person-centered approach helps you:
* Build self-awareness and self-trust
* Recognize and expand your natural strengths
* Improve self-esteem and confidence
* Develop healthier relationships
* Make choices aligned with your authentic self
You are viewed as the expert on your own life. The therapist’s role is to walk alongside you, helping you access the clarity and resilience already within you.
This approach can be especially helpful for individuals seeking personal growth, navigating life transitions, improving relationships, or healing from past experiences in a supportive and empowering environment.

Play Therapy
Child-Centered Play Therapy is a developmentally appropriate, evidence-based approach that helps children express thoughts and feelings through play—their natural language. Grounded in person-centered principles, this approach creates a safe, accepting environment where children feel understood and valued.
In play therapy sessions, children use toys, art, and imaginative play to communicate experiences that may be difficult to put into words. The therapist follows the child’s lead, offering empathy, encouragement, and emotional safety while helping them build confidence, self-regulation, and problem-solving skills.
Child-Centered Play Therapy can support children who are experiencing:
-
Anxiety or fears
-
Behavioral challenges
-
Grief and loss
-
Family transitions (divorce, relocation, new siblings)
-
Trauma or stressful events
-
Social or school difficulties
By honoring each child’s unique pace and strengths, this approach fosters resilience, emotional growth, and healthier relationships—helping children feel more secure and confident both at home and in school.
Family Therapy
Family therapy focuses on strengthening the parent–child relationship and supporting healthy family dynamics. Because young children develop within the context of their family, therapy involves caregivers as active participants in the healing process.
This collaborative approach helps families better understand their child’s emotional and behavioral needs while building practical skills for connection, communication, and co-regulation. Sessions may include guided play, parent coaching, and interactive activities that foster attachment, trust, and emotional safety.
Family therapy can support concerns such as:
-
Big emotions or frequent meltdowns
-
Behavioral challenges
-
Anxiety or separation difficulties
-
Sleep or routine struggles
-
Family transitions (divorce, relocation, new siblings)
-
Strengthening attachment and connection
By working together, families learn strategies to respond with confidence and consistency, creating a supportive environment where young children can thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally.
